Pull Apart Pizza

Pull Apart Pizza

I saw a picture of this on Pintrest a few weeks ago…and decided to try my own version of it!  A huge hit!  The kids loved it and it was easy to make.

I used a traditional pizza crust recipe

3-3 1/2 cups flour (I used half whole wheat, half white)

2 1/4 t. yeast (or one packet)

1 cup warm water

3 T. olive oil

1 t. salt

MIx ingredients and knead dough.

After the dough is ready pull it apart into small chunks.

To fill the dough pieces you need:

1-2 cups mozzarella

pepperoni, or any “topping” you chose

Flatten each piece of dough with your fingers, lay a piece of pepperoni on top, sprinkle on cheese and squeeze shut.  Roll into ball-like shapes.

We rolled each piece in a small bowl of margarine (or butter or olive oil)

Place each individual piece into a greased bunt cake pan.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 (+/-) minutes.

Flip pan onto a plate and voila!  Dinner!

We dipped ours in mariana and served it with green salad.
